Sumana Moole, MD
Dr. Sumana Moole is a board certified as a Gastroenterologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) with over 8 years’ experience. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI in 2004 and subsequently pursued a formal fellowship in Gastroenterology at Penn State University School of Medicine in 2006. At Penn State she was actively involved in both clinical gastroenterology and clinical research, which has resulted in publications in scientific journals and several presentations in national conferences. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Moole specializes in the treatment of a wide range of gastroenterological disorders and provides both consultative services and performs various procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, capsule endoscopy and small bowel enteroscopy.
She believes in comprehensive evidence-based clinical care while taking patient preferences into consideration. She is a compassionate physician and a strong advocate for patients.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and enjoys traveling.
