Nitin J. Parikh, MD is a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist and Biliary Endoscopist. Dr. Parikh has helped patients overcome gastroenterological disorders for over 25 years. Dr. Parikh treats stomach and intestinal diseases and digestive disorders in patients ages 18 and older. Dr. Parikh received his medical degree from Baroda Medical College. He completed an internal medicine residency and a Gastroenterology fellowship at Wayne State Medical School in Detroit, Michigan. He also attended an additional year of post-fellowship training at St. Luke’s Hospital-Medical College of Wisconsin.

While at St. Luke’s, he studied under world-renowned Gastroenterologist and Biliary Endoscopist, Dr. J.E. Geenen. Dr. Nitin J. Parikh’s training focused on Therapeutic Endoscopy Retrograde, Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and other Endoscopic procedures. These procedures involve the non-surgical treatment of bile duct stones, bile duct stricture and pancreatic cancer. He has actively participated in clinical research projects on esophageal ulceration and pancreatic disease. He is a member of the American Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Parikh speaks English, Gujarati, and Hindi. He has privileges in Northside Hospital Forsyth and Emory Johns Creek Hospital.
